From metal to garments – the film about the Mineral Elements process

Here is the film about the process of how designer Naim Josefi creates fashion out of metallic materials within the framework of the Mineral Elements project. The film premiered on December 3 during Steel Day (Ståldagen) 2019, the steel industry’s big joint vision day organized by Jernkontoret.

Mineral Elements is a collaboration between Smart Textiles, the Swedish School of Textiles, Jernkontoret, Sandvik, Umbilical Design and the designer Naim Josefi with the aim of producing garments of metallic materials that can actually be worn by a wide range of users and which can be produced industrially.
