Around twenty guests from companies which have been involved in Smart Textiles projects attended the Textile Showroom to have lunch, connect and listen to short presentations by businessman Torbjörn Gärdenfors and professor Torbjörn Lundh.
– I’m very, very pleased with the results. And I’m glad so many of our guests stayed for so long; I take it as a sign people appreciated the event, Susanne Nejderås says.
The idea behind Smart Brunch is to create a relaxed forum where companies come to be inspired by the results of successful projects and to exchange ideas. The event will be held once a month; however, as Christmas is just around the corner, the next brunch is planned for the 31st of January.
– We plan to invite a researcher from the University to speak. It’s possible to extend this concept to include other forms exchanging business ideas and matchmaking as well.
The fact that the brunch meeting was a success were attested to by several of the guests. Lasse Svensson, owner of Nordiska Etikettbolaget, was very pleased.
– First of all, this event is interesting from a business perspective as it is very interesting for us to come in contact with companies which may be in need of our services. Secondly, it’s interesting to exchange ideas with others because we develop products ourselves, he says and continues:
– I’d very much like to come to the next meeting, if that’s possible?
